Hungary returned two armoured bank vehicles seized from Ukraine on Thursday. The Hungarian authorities withheld cash and gold worth approximately $82 million. They cited an investigation into alleged money laundering as the reason for holding the cash and gold. Kyiv denounced the withholding of the assets as theft.
