France has very little budgetary room to maneuver to respond to rising energy prices caused by the Middle East conflict. Bank of France Governor and European Central Bank policymaker François Villeroy de Galhau said this on Friday.

He made the comment in relation to possible fiscal responses to the current situation affecting energy prices.
