Shares of Adani Energy Solutions fell 3.3% to a low of Rs 1,317 on the BSE after reporting a 6% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 684 crore for the fourth quarter. Revenue from operations increased 17% YoY to Rs 7,443 crore. EBITDA rose 5% YoY to Rs 2,372 crore, reflecting stable operating performance amid ongoing investments.
The company attributed profitability to strong growth in transmission and smart metering, alongside steady distribution performance. The transmission segment contributed significantly, with operating revenue up 7% YoY at Rs 1,286 crore. The distribution business’s revenue remained largely unchanged at Rs 2,869 crore, while EBITDA declined 4% YoY.
Smart metering revenue surged to Rs 215 crore, with EBITDA also showing significant growth. The company commissioned multiple transmission projects, including the Mumbai HVDC project, and installed over 1 crore smart meters. For FY26, total income reached Rs 28,325 crore, up 15.9% YoY, with net profit at Rs 2,393 crore. EBITDA for the year hit a record Rs 8,726 crore, up 13%.
