Insurance Firms Raise Stakes in 10 Mid-Cap Stocks in Q4FY26

Insurance shareholding increased in the March 2026 quarter compared to the December 2025 quarter. Based on shareholding disclosures, the top 10 stocks within the NSE midcap segment saw a rise in insurance shareholding. This growth often signals increasing confidence among insurers, reflecting positive market sentiment.

Insurance shareholding increased to 3.27% in the March ’26 quarter from 1.31% in the previous quarter. It rose to 10.96% in the March ’26 quarter, up from 9.5%. Shareholding climbed to 7.14% in the March ’26 quarter from 5.86% earlier. It grew to 5.28% in the March ’26 quarter, compared to 4.16%.

Other increases included a rise to 5% from 4%, 9.25% from 8.46%, and 3.67% from 3.17%. Shareholding also rose to 3.41% from 2.91%, increased to 5.72% from 5.26%, climbed to 3.88% from 3.44%, and rose to 7.37% from 6.96%. Finally, it increased to 8.7% from 8.34%.
