Exclusive: Iran attack damage wipes out 17% of Qatar’s LNG capacity for three to five years, QatarEnergy CEO says

QatarEnergy CEO Saad al-Kaabi said Iran’s attacks have damaged facilities producing 17% of Qatar’s liquefied natural gas export capacity. He gave this information in an interview with Reuters on Thursday. According to al-Kaabi, the repairs will take three to five years. The damage is linked directly to the attacks by Iran.
