SpaceX Aims for $1.75 Trillion Valuation with Upcoming IPO

In markets, significant shifts often redefine capital flows without dominating headlines. SpaceX’s confidential filing with the SEC marks such an inflection point. The company is reportedly targeting a $1.75 trillion valuation and a $75 billion raise, with a June listing on the Nasdaq. If achieved, this would be the largest IPO in history.

Following its February 2026 merger with xAI, SpaceX now sits at the convergence of launch economics, Starlink’s $11 billion run-rate in subscription connectivity, and an AI stack focused on satellite-generated data. The reported target would debut SpaceX at roughly 108x trailing sales, significantly higher than Meta’s IPO multiple.

The SpaceX moment prompts Indian investors to consider whether to buy at IPO and the broader necessity of global investment. India accounts for just under 3% of global market capitalisation, while the remaining 97% includes key players in AI, semiconductors, and space. Direct retail participation in the IPO will be limited, but global investment platforms have lowered barriers for Indian investors.

The right approach is a patient, rules-based build of global exposure. Those who recognize this shift early will participate in the next decade of wealth creation.
